About true love.
In my mind, it’s simple: if someone has doubts and reservations, then this is not pure love, but a consideration in the absence of a better alternative. In the end, it will not work out. And if it does, then it will be a love born of habit, not the true love with someone you always dreamed of being with.
Of course, not everything may work out immediately. When there are obstacles, those issues must be addressed. But if the obstacles are artificial, created at will, then this is a sign of not really wanting this — just being lonely and wishing to compensate for missing feelings, or yielding to social pressure to be with someone. For me personally, being on my own is better than being with someone who is not the one for me from the very beginning, or with someone to whom I am not the one from the very beginning.
It’s clear to me also that not everyone even knows that such love exists, and if you don’t know, how can you expect it? I mean the love with no doubts, from first sight, on both sides. It’s rather rare. Very rare. For most people, it may look like a fantasy from movies. Thus, every love is the best love — the best that one has ever experienced. But once you have experienced such love, instant and crazy, then every other love is not what you need anymore. Every other love seems like not true love.
Not much to add here, or to write a book about. It would be repeating the same thing from different angles.
