By cultivating lies, a society ensures that it will not survive. You cannot separate families of more talented and educated people from those with less intelligent ones, telling only a selected class the truth in order for science to advance, because of how the brain develops. On average, a more intelligent family can give birth to a less intelligent person, and vice versa. You cannot even choose more talented children to be educated within selected families, because the brain develops over a very long time, and by the time some abilities appear — or become visible through detailed brain scans — it will be too late if the child has been exposed to lies, including false science, from an early age. It will be too late to fully develop their potential.
Those societies that give everyone equal opportunities to learn and know the truth will grow stronger than those that try to separate knowledge between groups, with all the economic, military, and other consequences.
