A Dream World.
It appears that I have succeeded in cracking the code to dreams. Early to say, maybe, though. Over the last few weeks, I have had funny dreams full of adventures in places where I haven’t been before, mixed with elements from my experiences in life that I know to be true — from the time I am awake — and from my past dreams. Sometimes I am literally sure that some part of the dream has happened before, taking it as a real experience, but recalling when exactly something happened — in sleep or in real life — requires effort after waking up.
The time I spend sleeping now is like a second life, expanding the total experience. The dreams are very realistic, possible to act in, and not switching randomly in content. The story, or several stories within one night of dreams, makes sense, and often continues after waking up and going back to sleep. Some of the dreams are a bit out of touch with what is possible, at least in the sense of known possibilities, but those are the most educational. Other dreams are down to earth, with real adventures, and as I said, often funny. The best part is that I can control those dreams — not entirely, but at least my own actions, not being completely pulled into something by unknown forces. To achieve such sleep states, I don’t use the known techniques for lucid dreaming, with sleep deprivation and so on, but rather the contrary — I sleep a lot. And when in the morning I feel that I didn’t have enough sleep, I continue sleeping until midday. Sometimes, when well rested, I go back to sleep just to continue the dream, out of curiosity about what happens next, to learn more, or simply to have a great time.
