Entanglement through extra dimensions makes perfect sense.
Either there are no extra dimensions and spooky action at a distance remains a mystery, or there exist more dimensions that we cannot perceive with our senses. In that case, faster-than-light action would be a normal phenomenon. The speed of light as a limit could apply only to our senses, not to the physical reality of the universe — the hidden dimensions will be a shortcut for the exchange of information.
Physicists say that with quantum entanglement one cannot send information, but that’s wrong. The fact that we cannot send information with our current understanding of physical laws, due to the random nature of measurement results, doesn’t eliminate the fact that information is sent instantly. We’d better learn more about the properties of entanglement and create a setup where randomness is reduced, so that useful information could be sent instantly. The universe will deal with the apparent paradoxes and teach us what reality really is — not philosophically, but as a set of facts.
