SimU #A016 _ Mathematics as the Language of Imagination. The Universe Within a Mind.
There is a possibility that the higher reality is a pure mind, directly evolved from the rules of mathematics, without a physical universe. Therefore, the universe we live in could be the only universe currently existing in the mind of the creator. Once the creator grows bored with this idea, another idea may replace it. This could explain why the language of the universe — mathematics — is uniform throughout existence as a single thought, upon which all subsequent reality is built.
The mind of the creator does not need to sustain only one thought, though — we may have already been left behind, and another idea of a different universe could be slowly taking over. Slowly from our perspective. If that is the case, we might discover regions in our universe where mathematics, and thus the laws of physics, are different.
Nevertheless, I believe that the rules of mathematics cannot differ and that if a completely new universe can come into existence as a new idea of the creator, it will be governed by the same fundamental laws of physics dictated by the same laws of mathematics.
