Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR).

There are some interesting recent developments in LENR technologies, but at the same time there’s also some skepticism around — that the measurements have not been thorough, on producing the excess energy in any form. The skepticism comes with a proposed possibility that the regular chemical reactions are producing the supposedly excess energy, while it’s difficult to measure all the energy components precisely, to determine the true effect of LENR.

Well, as it’s not really a topic I know much about, then I simply advise you to keep an eye on the news — it does appear that there is something interesting in recent discoveries.

The last time I learned about the LENR research developments, and about the related transmutation of elements, about ten years ago. I was convinced back then that it is proven to be possible. Especially convincing were russian scientists with their research on the low energy transmutation of elements, leaving no question behind that it is possible, regardless of the missing theoretical understanding why it works. Once I even happened to meet a russian scientist, when I lived in Italy, who was there on the conference of cold fusion technologies. He confirmed that yes, the field is very promising. But since then I have seen in the science news almost nothing on this topic.

Now there are some results coming out, from the somewhat “underground” research, making science news. The thing is that I cannot highlight any of the breakthroughs in cold fusion / LENR / catalyzed fusion here, simply because I don’t know which ones are serious and which are not, by the lack of my expertise on the subject. Do your own news search and make up your own mind what is the truth out there.

One thing I do want to say, that I began looking into the LENR again, because a few days ago I had an idea: what if the placebo effect — proven to give real results without necessary medication for the effect — is due to the creation by the body the needed elements for the cure. The results could be either due to a regular chemistry, or even by transmutation of elements in our body, by pure will of the mind.
