What if. Physics. Imagination. Mental problems.
There’s still debate raging if physics is deterministic or not. Well, if all processes in the universe were determined then the deterministic processes of life giving rise to our thoughts wouldn’t produce imaginations of impossible things.
Imaginations could be a search of the mind for all possible entanglement options within the brain, bouncing waves of energy until some connections are made. Depending on the structure of the brain, and the previous knowledge, the bouncing of the waves would make connections which would produce more or less truthful results. If that’s the case that imagination is the search for possible entanglement options, then telling lies to children — including “harmless” lies — will produce adults who have a great imagination of impossible things, but will be quite useless in producing beneficial results for advancing life.
Even certain mental health problems could be the result of having grown up midst too many untruthful stories, compared to the truth, so the search of the brain for possible connections that could be firmly entangled, takes too long time for the mental processes and body to function properly.
Those were just some thoughts, not sure I presented them in a comprehensible and logically sound way — I may rewrite the article later or make some corrections if needed.
