traces of the past, and the future.

in theory it should be possible to recover all and every piece of information from whatever event there happened during the entire existence of the universe.

imagine the data that archaeologists uncover about the past, from millions of years ago. those traces of the past activities aren’t the only way that information is preserved. some of the information dissipates into the universe in the form of light and other waves. those waves will travel in the universe forever.

the traces of information are getting ever weaker with time, especially while reflecting from other objects in the universe and getting new information along the way, but the trace information will never disappear completely, in a deep quantum level. every interaction changes the wave while encoding into it information from all of the interactions it had since the beginning of time.

and even better. as the light senses no time, being for itself everywhere at the same moment, it has in it information from the future as well.. from every possible future. the future isn’t completely determined — i have written about it why — nevertheless, the information about the possible futures exists. if it wasn’t the case then we wouldn’t be able to imagine anything nor to make any predictions.

also all imaginations leave traces into the universe thus it will be difficult to decrypt from the universe the information about the true past and true future, not some imaginations.

thus, there are some laws of physics to discover, about how the information is encoded in universe, and how to decode the information of a specific chosen time and location.
