about not eating.

there are people out there who believe they can live without eating, from a cosmic energy so to say. i think it’s easy to convince most of them in the contrary, with some logic and strong arguments.

first, before trying to live without eating, let them try to live without sleeping, to test the power of mind. if they don’t have even such a simple control of mind over the body then forget about not eating.

i know one person who in the past claimed to be able to live without eating and allegedly had done it for over a month, just the “social interactions” and “social pressure” stopped him from continuing while he was absolutely fine by his words, in full power without losing much weight and could have continued indefinitely. well, i was not convinced, but i tried to be delicate and subtle in my response, so i proposed to not to sleep as well. he tried. after three days he gave up. since then i had more conversations with him, explaining that even plants who supposedly “live from sunlight only”, need water and nutrients, or they die. and i pointed out that his ‘guru’ on the photos/videos looks too fat for supposedly living from air and sunlight only. it worked. i’m glad to see him eating a good food now.
