about religions

initially the founders of religions were into something, attempting to discover deep truths to the best of their abilities and social knowledge. but then the religions got stuck, some of them for thousands of years.

the entire truth will never be known, but the continuous work on finding out more of it must be the way forward not only for modern science but also for any and all religions, old and new, to remain truly relevant for society. if not then a religion will stay as a mental crutch, in some cases a very old crutch which is no longer of a good support.
