.. i’m planning new discovery trips to some places on earth where i haven’t been yet, with a potential of staying somewhere for a longer time than just a brief journey. it may happen already in the end of january or in the beginning of february. this means that i may soon use less internet and post less content — especially while camping in forests and mountains with no means to regularly recharge the batteries of my electric/electronic devices.
while preparing for the possibility of not returning to france very soon, and not really having the need for some of my internet domain names related to france, i’m offering those domains for a good use. have a look on my contact page — the two domains with the name ‘paris’ in them are available on highly negotiable conditions, for example in exchange for something else, like a compact pro quality video camera.
several weeks ago, after the place where i’m staying currently, suffered another attempt of break-in, for the third time in two years, i gave away all my professional video/audio recording equipment to a friend of mine. i’m not planning to buy again all the pro video and sound recording equipment anytime soon. after learning all i could about professional cameras, and audio also, i prefer to wait for a few years until there will be new pro level affordable cameras out there which have resolved some common issues even with pro cameras, and added some new already existing technology.
the desired video camera should have:
– global shutter;
– electronic variable nd filter;
– 32 bit float audio recording.
the resolution of image doesn’t need to be 8k or more for my needs, 4k will be enough. none of the cameras currently on market have all the three above mentioned capacities in the same device, thus i must wait. it would make production much easier, with a single camera, rather than having countless accessories, cables etc.
yet, if you have a less capable compact pro level camera/camcorder in exchange for the domain names i’m offering, then i may look into the proposal. the camera/camcorder must have non-stop filming capacity with no overheating issues, preferably with two sdxc card slots. i still have a good quality 4k sony pocket camera so i don’t need another one with the same limitations but only a pro level camera which can shoot hours of video non-stop, at least three hours on single battery charge with no need to swap batteries during recording.
you can also offer something else, some useful stuff for camping and travel which doesn’t take too much space in my backpack and doesn’t weigh too much.
