ANTI-AGING (ANTI-AGEING) MEDITATION.

every time when i begin paying less attention to my health meditation “routine”, it almost immediately shows up in my physical condition, clearly visible in the mirror — my true age watches back at me as soon as i let the time to do its habitual careless job.. shamelessly and with no pity.

for the mental work, which i’m calling “meditation” for the lack of a better word, i could make quite a parallel with eating and physical exercises. taking a break from eating clears your body, but you cannot do it for too long. with the ‘meditation’ it’s a good idea not to do it whole the time — the pauses in the mental work allow the information to settle in your subconscious mind, having greater effect on your body.. yet taking too long pauses from the mental control of the body will let the degradation of the body at a usual pace to continue. with physical exercises, doing it without any rest, the effect is damaging, and the same is with the mental work on improving your body. thus the key is in finding the perfect balance between the meditation sessions and the pauses from meditation. each type of meditation has its particular best cycle, like different foods have their particular digestion times and nutritional durations, and like different physical exercises have their required rest periods for the best effect on body.

i’m still working on finding the optimal cycles for my mental work on improving my body, on improving my ‘meditation’ techniques. as i’m being too interested in science — there’s always too many new interesting things to learn — it can sometimes force me to “forget” the meditation i’m supposed to do. i could definitely call the interest in science a kind of addiction, and like any addiction it can also kill, literally, if not taking enough break from it, to recover mental and physical capacity, to sleep enough.

i suppose that after the lifetime of research and personal experience with the tests i designed for myself, i could already write a book on my “meditation” methods and strategies. i would rather call it “training the body through the mental work”. at the same time, knowing the value of time, i don’t want to waste it for writing a book which could turn out to be wrong. i’m still in my fifties and i look my age. some say i look younger but that’s a comparison to those who smoke and drink rather too much, which is a large part of the society.. thus looking “younger” in that context isn’t a compliment to me. i look normal for a healthy half century of life. when i will be a hundred years old and will still look like in my fifties, then i can write a book with the necessary confidence that my method truly works.. at least for me.

also, i’m saving my free time for better things, mainly research, and with a written book with not enough certainty in the method i would waste the time of others as well, those who would read it. and even worse — those who would apply my method in their lives, will be wasting even more time if it turns out to be not a real solution for stopping aging, or working only in my particular case. thus i avoid such outcome. if you want to be part of the study though, with no guarantee of a success, that’s another story then.. we will need to discuss the possibilities in your personal case. i don’t want to spend my time on teaching people who are damaging their body in some ways, which would nullify all the efforts of the mental conrtol over the aging process of the body.
