there’s a way to determine at which level of substructures of an organism those structures have a mind, memory and will of their own, or they simply follow the laws of physics with no way to change the outcome at will.
it can be done by calculating the probabilities of specific cellular/molecular processes happening all over the place and in certain locations only. if the process at the question should happen everywhere by the random distribution but is happening instead rather in specific locations, then there must be mind and will of molecular structures involved. if the existence of the mind of cells and even smaller structures is determined as the result then it would answer many questions about the placebo effect, hypnosis, etc.
