for some unknown to me reason, i cannot create a separate ‘about’ page on this layout of the blog, and i don’t want to change the layout as it may mess up the structure of many previous articles. as my free time is limited i prefer to spend it on my research, rather than seeking out solutions to the layout of the blog — i mean i did it in the beginning, thus no more time for it.

when i created the blog there were no other layouts available similar to this, with the straightforward separation of articles by date and this color selection — deep black background with clear white text — which is the best for clarity. therefore, as there are issues on creating separate pages, the ‘about’ page will stay as an article, highlighted by sticking it to the top.
